The state of Louisiana permits consumer sparklers as defined by DOT and the CPSC. Furthermore, Louisiana prohibits cherry bombs, tubular salutes, 2” American made salutes, firecrackers exceeding 1½”in length or ¼” in diameter, repeating bombs, aerial bombs, roman candles larger than 10 ball, and sky rockets larger than 6 ounces. Currently, their selling periods are Noon June 25 through midnight July 5, and noon December 15 through midnightJanuary 1. The state of Louisiana allow an age of purchase to be 16 years old.
